Description
The S-8R is a reciprocating surgical saw handpiece designed for controlled bone cutting in cranio-maxillo-facial and oral surgery. Its short, linear reciprocating stroke supports precise, incremental bone separation with a high degree of tactile feedback, making it well suited for procedures where control and safety are critical.
The reciprocating motion minimizes unintended lateral movement, allowing surgeons to work confidently in confined or delicate anatomical areas. The handpiece is fully dismantlable for thorough cleaning and designed for repeated reprocessing in demanding surgical environments.
Clinical indications
-
Controlled bone cutting in CMF surgery
-
Osteotomy requiring precise, linear motion
-
Procedures where maximal control and minimal lateral movement are desired
Why clinicians choose the S-8R
-
Reciprocating motion (1.8 mm stroke) supports accurate, stepwise bone cutting
-
High cutting control for delicate or confined surgical sites
-
Stable performance at high stroke frequency for efficient bone separation
-
Serviceable design for long-term reliability in surgical settings
