Reliance EG9 Gel Etchant – 37% Phosphoric Acid - Bottle or Syringe

Reliance EG9 Gel Etchant is a 37% phosphoric acid enamel conditioner formulated for controlled, predictable application during bonding procedures. The gel creates a clean, micro-roughened enamel surface that increases surface area and opens enamel pores, allowing orthodontic adhesives to penetrate effectively and form a strong mechanical bond.

Widely used in orthodontic and surgical dentistry, EG9 Gel Etchant is indicated for enamel preparation prior to bracket placement, accessory bonding, and the placement of Cusp-Lok eruption chains. After proper isolation, the etchant is applied for approximately 30 seconds, thoroughly rinsed, and dried until a uniform frosty enamel appearance is achieved, indicating optimal etch quality.

The formulation features a thick, easy-to-control consistency designed to stay where placed, reducing run-off and improving placement accuracy.
