Pro-Fix™ Self-Drilling Tenting Screws

Pro-Fix™ self-drilling tenting screws are designed to create and maintain space under resorbable and non-resorbable membranes in horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation. A self-drilling tip, polished neck, and broad, low-profile head work together to support the membrane, stabilize the graft, and simplify placement in both cortical and cancellous bone.

Key Features

• Locking-taper, cruciform drive
  Cruciform head design provides secure engagement with the Pro-Fix™ driver blade for easy pick-up, safe transfer to the surgical site, and excellent screw stability upon placement.
• Self-drilling tip
  Aggressive tip and thread geometry engage bone and allow precise placement without a pilot hole – even in cortical bone. Eliminates the need for a mallet or separate pilot drilling in most cases.
• Polished neck for space maintenance
  Available with a 3 mm, 4 mm, or 5 mm polished neck to maintain the desired vertical dimension under the membrane while keeping the threaded segment embedded in bone.
• 4 mm threaded portion for anchorage
  A 4 mm threaded segment anchors securely into bone to provide stable support for the overlying graft and membrane complex.
• 8.0 mm + 10mm fully threaded tenting screw also available. 
• Broad, low-profile head
  3.5 mm diameter screw head offers a wide surface area to distribute forces across the membrane and help reduce the risk of membrane perforation or tearing.

System Compatibility

• Uses the same Pro-Fix™ cruciform driver blade as Pro-Fix™ bone fixation and membrane screws, allowing a single driver system for all Pro-Fix screws.
• Designed for use under resorbable and non-resorbable membranes in ridge augmentation and complex grafting procedures.
