Product Overview

Piezomed lateral sinus lift tips from W&H Dentalwerk are purpose-designed for predictable, atraumatic lateral sinus floor augmentation—from precise bone window preparation to controlled elevation of the Schneiderian membrane.

Powered by piezoelectric ultrasound technology, these tips enable selective cutting of mineralized tissue while helping preserve soft tissue structures. Integrated with the Piezomed SA-320 system, each tip is automatically detected and assigned to the correct power class, supporting procedural safety, consistent performance, and extended instrument service life.

• 0.6 mm tip thickness

• 90 µm diamond grain

• Manufacturer-recommended settings: 100% power / 100% irrigation
  Indicated for preparation of bone, lateral sinus window creation, and crown margin extension. Best results are achieved with slow movements and minimal pressure.

S2 Tip for Piezomed (REF 05534700)
Diamond-coated round ball tip for refined window preparation.

• 1.7 mm round ball

• 60 µm diamond grain

• Manufacturer-recommended settings: 75% power / 80% irrigation
  Used for preparation of the lateral sinus window and crown margin extension. Optimal performance is achieved with forward-and-back movements aligned with the axial direction of the handpiece.

Schneiderian Membrane Detachment & Elevation

Internally irrigated membrane elevator with protective coolant delivery.

• 4.9 mm wide flute

• Triple spray coolant outlets

• Manufacturer-recommended settings: 75% power / 90% irrigation
  Designed for atraumatic detachment of the sinus mucosa and elevation of the Schneiderian membrane. The coolant fluid forms a protective film between the instrument and membrane, allowing a softer, safer “push.” Best results are achieved with slow movements and very light pressure along the bone–soft tissue junction.

S4 Tip for Piezomed (REF 05542300)
Blunt paddle-shaped elevator with compact geometry.

• 4 mm wide round blunt working edge

• 8 mm working depth

• 90° angulation

• Manufacturer-recommended settings: 65% power / 90% irrigation
  Used for atraumatic elevation and detachment of the Schneiderian membrane. The interior surface of the working edge should remain in continuous contact with bone to maintain control and safety.

S5 Tip for Piezomed (REF 05542800)
Extended blunt paddle for deeper membrane elevation.

• Round blunt working edge

• 10 mm working depth

• 135° angulation

• Manufacturer-recommended settings: 65% power / 90% irrigation
  Designed for atraumatic membrane elevation in deeper or more posterior regions. As with S4, the interior surface should remain in contact with bone at all times for controlled elevation.
