Piezomed bone surgery tips from W&H Dentalwerk are engineered for precise, atraumatic bone cutting, harvesting, contouring, and ridge manipulation in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Piezoelectric ultrasound technology enables controlled micromovements that selectively cut mineralized tissue while helping preserve surrounding soft tissue. Compared to conventional rotary or oscillating instruments, this allows bone harvesting and shaping with minimal bone loss and improved tactile control.
When inserted into the Piezomed handpiece, each tip is automatically recognized and assigned to the correct power class, improving safety, reducing overload, and extending instrument service life.
