Description
Hu-Friedy Winter Cross-Bar Elevators are surgical elevators used to loosen teeth or root fragments from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction. Each pattern is offered as a paired left and right set, providing complementary access and ergonomics during elevation of tooth segments and third molars. These instruments are designed with cross-bar handles that enhance grip and control during force application, especially in posterior anatomy.
Clinical use
-
Loosening teeth from the periodontal ligament
-
Elevation of tooth segments and third molars
-
Controlled luxation prior to forceps application
Design overview
Winter Cross-Bar Elevators integrate a cross-bar handle with working ends optimized for leverage and stability. The left and right patterns allow clinicians to apply controlled force from opposing orientations without compromising hand positioning.
