Description
The Hu-Friedy Palacci back action chisel is a specialized periodontal instrument designed for controlled bone removal and soft tissue management in confined surgical areas. Unlike traditional back action chisels such as the C36/37, the Palacci pattern combines two distinctly different working ends to support multifunctional use during periodontal and implant procedures.
One end features a 13K-style chisel designed for back-action bone removal using a pull stroke. The opposing end incorporates an elongated, rounded periosteal-style tip, allowing gentle tissue reflection, access, and manipulation without unnecessary trauma.
This hybrid configuration allows clinicians to transition between bone contouring and soft tissue management without changing instruments.
Manufactured by Hu-Friedy, the SPAL13K6 is crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent clinical performance.
