The Hu-Friedy Buser Modified periodontal chisels are combination instruments designed for efficient bone removal and contouring during periodontal and implant procedures. Each model integrates two Jovanovic (PJO) chisel tip sizes into a single double-ended 13KL pattern, allowing clinicians to address multiple clinical needs without changing instruments.
All Buser Modified chisels share the same overall geometry and differ only by the width of the working ends. This configuration supports predictable osseous contouring while improving workflow efficiency in surgical settings.
These instruments are available with Black Line, #6, or #10 handles to accommodate clinician preference for grip style, balance, and visibility.
Manufactured by Hu-Friedy, the Buser Modified chisels are crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term clinical performance.
