Description
The Kramer-Nevins acute sinus lift instrument is designed for controlled, atraumatic elevation of the Schneiderian membrane during sinus lift procedures. It is used to gently separate and reflect the sinus membrane from the maxillary bone after lateral window access, supporting predictable membrane elevation prior to graft placement.
This instrument features sharply angled working ends with a large and small profile measuring 7.6 mm and 4.1 mm. The acute angles are designed to improve access along the sinus wall and around tight anatomical contours while maintaining precise control. The working ends are smooth and blunt to support delicate membrane handling without cutting or tearing, helping reduce the risk of perforation.
The Kramer-Nevins acute design is well suited for lateral window sinus lift and maxillary sinus augmentation procedures where controlled leverage and access in confined areas are required.
