The Kirkland 8K/9K Double-Ended Surgical Curette is a large, heavy-duty periodontal curette designed for rapid and effective removal of granulation tissue, fibrotic debris, and tenacious subgingival deposits. Its broad, curved working ends provide strong scraping efficiency, making it well suited for periodontal flap surgery, osseous procedures, and thorough post-extraction site debridement.
The robust construction of the Kirkland curette delivers excellent leverage and wide surface coverage across roots and osseous defects. It is commonly selected when standard curettes or smaller spoon designs lack the mass and efficiency required to manage dense, inflamed, or fibrous periodontal tissue.
