Hu-Friedy Curtis Elevators are surgical elevators used to loosen teeth or root fragments from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction through controlled luxation. The 51 and 52 patterns are designed as complementary instruments, offering subtle differences in tip geometry to adapt engagement based on anatomy and access.
Both elevators are manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel for durability and consistent clinical performance.

E51 Curtis Elevator Features a slightly narrower, more rounded working end, supporting controlled engagement where finer access or gentler contact is preferred.
E52 Curtis Elevator Features a slightly broader working end compared to the E51, providing increased contact area for more assertive luxation when anatomy allows.
Used together, the E51 and E52 provide flexible options for scaling engagement and force during extraction.
