Description
The Hu-Friedy Buser chisels are surgical instruments designed for sectioning and splitting teeth as well as controlled bone removal during extraction and periodontal procedures. The Buser patterns provide decisive cutting performance while maintaining control in dense tooth structure and cortical bone.
The Round Tip Buser chisel features a 4 mm bite designed to initiate and propagate controlled splits while allowing smooth engagement with bone surfaces. The rounded profile supports predictable force transfer without sharp point loading.
The Pointed Tip Buser 6 chisel features a 6.3 mm bi-bevel cutting edge designed for more aggressive tooth sectioning and bone removal. The bi-bevel geometry allows even force distribution through tooth structure, supporting efficient splitting with controlled depth.
Manufactured by Hu-Friedy, both Buser chisels are produced from surgical-grade stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent clinical performance.
