The Atraumair™ Diamond Dusted Extraction Forceps from Hu-Friedy are designed for clinicians who require enhanced engagement and control while maintaining an atraumatic extraction technique. Diamond Dusted Atraumair models combine the atraumatic Atraumair geometry with a light diamond coating on the beaks.

A fine diamond coating bonded to the longitudinal beak serrations increases resistance between the forceps and tooth surface, providing approximately 20% greater grip compared to traditional forceps. This enhanced engagement supports controlled luxation, rotation, and traction while reducing the need for excessive squeezing or repeated repositioning. Thin, tapered beak designs improve intraoral visibility and access compared to conventional forceps profiles, supporting bone and soft-tissue preservation during routine, surgical, pre-implant, and implant-adjacent extractions.
