Description
Hu-Friedy Allen Orban 1/2 knives are periodontal surgical knives designed for posterior access and controlled soft-tissue incision. The Allen Orban design refines the traditional Orban pattern to provide improved handling in posterior regions.
The Allen Orban 1/2 (Standard) knife is 30% thinner than the standard Orban and features an angled blade with a contra-angled shank, supporting access in posterior areas. It is used for incisions that remove or recontour soft tissue and is also useful for excising interproximal tissue. The double-ended 1/2 configuration provides both working ends in a single instrument.
