Description
Hu-Friedy E92 and E93 elevators are surgical elevators designed to loosen teeth or root fragments from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction. They are bayonet-shaped and serrated, providing controlled engagement and leverage in areas where straight elevators offer limited access.
The E92 and E93 are complementary in shape and are recommended for use as a paired set to improve access and ergonomics during luxation.

Design overview
Both elevators feature a bayonet-shaped shank that improves visibility and access around adjacent teeth and soft tissue. Serrated working ends enhance grip on the root surface, supporting controlled force application during extraction.

E92 Elevator Bayonet-shaped, serrated elevator with a down-facing working end when held at a standard shaft angle. Designed to provide controlled engagement from one approach orientation.
E93 Elevator Bayonet-shaped, serrated elevator with an up-facing working end when held at the same shaft angle. Provides the complementary engagement orientation to the E92.
Used together, the E92 and E93 allow efficient alternating access without changing hand position.
