Hu-Friedy E80-, E81-series elevators are surgical elevators used to loosen teeth or root fragments from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction. This group is primarily indicated for anterior anatomy, offering variations in length and working-end orientation to support controlled luxation and root displacement.

Available patterns
E81 Elevator Recommended for upper anterior roots and small teeth. Designed for controlled PDL release and predictable luxation in anterior anatomy.
E80 Elevator Longer version of the E81 tip, providing additional reach while maintaining similar engagement characteristics. Useful when deeper access is required in anterior cases.
E81A Elevator Suggested for displacement of anterior roots. Offers a working-end orientation intended to improve leverage and engagement during root displacement.
E81E Elevator Companion pattern to the E81A, providing the opposite orientation. The E81A and E81E are recommended as a paired set to improve access and ergonomics during anterior root displacement.
Armamentarium placement
