Description
The Hu-Friedy 13K/TG double-ended periodontal curette/chisel is designed for periodontal bone recontouring and removal of remaining tooth fibers during periodontal surgery. This hybrid pattern combines two distinct working-end geometries on a single instrument to support both push- and pull-stroke techniques.
One end follows the traditional 13K-style double-angled, curved chisel design and is intended for use with a pull stroke. The opposing end features a flat TG-style chisel and is used with a push stroke, providing flexibility and control across varying surgical approaches.
Both working ends measure approximately 3.3 mm, allowing consistent tactile feedback and predictable performance regardless of stroke direction.
Manufactured by Hu-Friedy, the S13K/TG is crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel and features a large-diameter Satin Steel™ handle to enhance comfort, control, and fatigue reduction.
