Hu-Friedy Extraction Kit

The Hu-Friedy Extraction Kit is a comprehensive kit specifically designed for extraction procedures. IMS instrument cassette included for improved efficiency and safety.

Each instrument is selected to support the full extraction workflow — from incision and tissue reflection through root elevation, curettage, bone filing, and suturing.

• IM4163E2C4 — 16 Instrument Signature Series™ Cassette, Orange. IMS cassettes are made of long-lasting, low-maintenance stainless steel with soft, colored silicone rails. Available in over 100 sizes, configurations, and color options.
• 10-130-05 — 5 Scalpel Handle, Round Straight. For cutting gingival tissue and making surgical incisions. Provides greater rotational movement with fingertip control. Measures 6" long. Compatible with standard scalpel blade sizes.
• P96 — 9 Molt Periosteal Elevator. For reflecting and retracting the mucoperiosteum after incisions of the gingival tissue. 4.3mm/8.4mm.
• NHMH — Mayo-Hegar Needle Holder. For grasping and guiding the needle when suturing. 16cm. Recommended suture sizes: 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0.
• S16 — 16 Goldman-Fox Scissors. For trimming tissue or cutting sutures. 12.5cm with 1 serrated blade.
• CL866 — 86 Lucas DE Surgical Curette, #6 Handle. For curettage, cyst removal, and tooth socket debridement. 2.8mm.
• E301 — 301 Apexo Elevator. Used to loosen the tooth from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction.
• E34S — 34S Seldin Straight Elevator. Used to loosen the tooth from the periodontal ligament and ease extraction. 4.0mm.
• BF2X6 — 2X Miller-Colburn Bone File. For final smoothing and shaping of bone. 6.2mm wide working ends.
• EHB13/146 — 13/14 Heidbrink DE Root Pick. For removal of root tips in difficult-to-reach areas. Designed for delicate root teasing procedures.
• RF — Friedman Rongeurs. For trimming and recontouring alveolar bone and gross tissue removal. 2.4mm/14cm.
• TP43 — 43 Adson-Brown Tissue Pliers. For grasping and stabilizing soft tissue during suturing. 12mm.
• EPTSSP — Luxating Hybrid Elevator, Straight Spade. A unique cross between a periotome and a luxating elevator, used apically within the periodontal ligament space to cut periodontal ligaments prior to extraction.
