Precision-engineered for osteotomy site preparation in dental implant placement, Dentech External Cooling Twist Drills deliver reliable cutting performance with the thermal protection your patients' bone tissue demands. Manufactured from high-carbon stainless steel, these drills provide the hardness and cutting efficiency required for consistent implant bed preparation across varying bone densities.

  • External cooling design – Irrigation channels direct coolant to the cutting site, minimizing heat generation and reducing the risk of thermal necrosis during osteotomy preparation
  • High-carbon stainless steel construction – Delivers superior hardness and long-lasting cutting efficiency
  • Autoclave sterilizable at 132°C – Compatible with standard steam sterilization protocols
  • Two length series available:
    • 33 mm series – Sizes: 20S, 28S, 31S, 32S, 33S, 35S, 38S, 40S, 42S, 45S,

Maintenance & Sterilization

  • Immediately after use, immerse drills in anti-rust solution
  • Remove stopper prior to cleaning and autoclaving
  • Thoroughly remove all blood and bone debris before sterilization
  • Use only refined (distilled) water in the autoclave
  • Autoclave on a drill stand — do not place directly in a sterilization bag

Note: High-carbon stainless steel is susceptible to corrosion. Strict adherence to the maintenance protocol is required to ensure instrument longevity.
